This community event promises to be another fantastic night for everyone.
The last acoustic night saw incredible performances from Sunshine Coast musicians and a variety of other acts. There is a lot of talent out there and the Cooran Acoustic Night is the perfect place to strut your stuff!
Please bring your original music and songs and don't forget to register on the blackboard on arrival.
Admission is still only $3.00. Delicious low price food and drinks are also available.

Background: The Cooran Acoustic Night is an iconic community event that has been going for almost 20 years now. People come from all over the Sunshine Coast and beyond to play. The Cooran Acoustic Night is the perfect place to showcase local and emerging artists as well as a variety of all kinds of entertainment by the community, for the community. Many young artists and professional musicians got their start at the music night held every eight weeks at the Cooran Hall in King Street, Cooran.
The beautiful little Sunshine Coast Hinterland village boasts a huge amount of talent. The Cooran Acoustic Night is manned entirely by dedicated volunteers, who love music and entertainment and share the desire to let our locals shine in a supportive and friendly space. February 2010 saw the end of the HIT THE GROUND RUNNING' CD Project. Awesome contributions were made and it was extremely difficult to compile a 'Best of...' CD. The CD is available at the Cooran General Store and Pomona Newsagency. This year 2010, promises to be a big one for the Cooran Acoustic Night as the community recognises the invaluable contribution the event gives to local music. Come along and enjoy a great night of family entertainment, delicious food made with a special dose of love and catch up with new and old friends.
